UPDATE ON THE LEADERSHIP GROUP

Most of you think that the leadership group is all very well but you also may think you don’t have an inkling as to what we are doing.

Well, it’s full on up here, us children have been split into two groups – the outside group and the library group.

The outside group are working on the outdoor things, i.e the garden, helping tidy up the leaves and any interesting obstacles placed on the playground or the fields.

As for the library group we’ve been fundraising to buy better books and games for the kids entertainment.

That’s it for now. We’ll be updating again soon.

BOOK FAIR

Thanks for the hundreds of books that were donated at such short notice. Your support is much appreciated. Some were so wonderful that they have been put straight into the library.

Those sold raised $125 which has been used to purchase 8 brand new books. THANK YOU!!

BOOK SORT OUT

A couple of weeks ago we had our book sort out!
5 parents came to help out. We did lots of shifting around.
On our Monday assembly everybody noticed how tidy it was.
So now we would like to thank you for all your help.

Library Fix Up

We decided to fix our library to make it look fantastic. We got mums in to help us sort out the books. We mended some books and put new letters on them and we chose books to sell at the Book Fair.   

Mahana Leaders Get Going

There was a fantastic response to the idea of a leadership group at Mahana School. Mr Neal the principal said, 'We had so many great applications and there was so much enthusiasm out there for the idea, we decided to give everyone a go at getting involved. There is enough to do here!'
